Advanced Police Sniper

Basic Police Sniper

5-Days (50 Hours)

This course is designed to expose students to the proper techniques, deployments, and tactics, associated with the modern police sniper. This course of instruction will stress the fundamentals of marksmanship and precision shooting. Topics covered include:

  • Positional Shooting

Basic Police Sniper

Designated Marksman

A three-day designated marksman course. This course is designed for the deployment of low variable powered optics(LVPO) or scoped rifles for patrol operations. This is designed for departments without tactical teams, who have personnel conducting perimeter duties with scoped weapon systems. This course is designed for bolt-action and semi-automatic rifles, with traditional scopes and LVPOs.
 
Designated Marksman

Advanced Tactical Marksmanship

A two-day (16-hours) advanced marksmanship course. This course is designed to provide a tactical team or special unit member with an advanced understanding of the patrol rifle/carbine when used in conjunction with a pistol. This statistically driven course is designed around behavioral compliance. A basic level of athleticism is recommended.
 
Advanced Tactical Marksmanship

Combat Shotgun Instructor (20 Hours)

Combat Shotgun Instructor course is designed to teach current firearms instructors the fundamentals, case law, and nomenclature for utilizing the shotgun weapon system in a law enforcement environment. It is built to provide Law Enforcement firearms instructors with the most up-to-date training and tactics for both modern semiautomatic shotguns and more traditional pump-action shotguns. This course will teach instructors how to deploy and train the shotgun weapons system in the field. Topics of instruction include:
 
  • Shotgun Selection, Setup, and Considerations
  • Ammunition Selection
  • Fundamentals of Range Instruction
  • Case Studies
  • Ammunition transition drills
